A 13-year-old boy faces assault charges for allegedly attacking the mom of a classmate after the classmate reported him to school athourities for anti-immigrant chants, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office mentioned in a media release.
The mom, identified as Beronica Ruiz by her legal professional, Daniel Santiago, informed authorities she was strolling down a road in Passaic, New Jersey, along with her 1-year-old child and son on 19th June when she and her son were fiercly attacked.
Santiago told CNN that the battle started at college the day earlier than the assault, when the 13-12 months-previous and another boys chanted “return to Mexico” to a bunch of scholars within the cafeteria.
Ruiz’s son, who’s an American citizen, replied, “What are you speaking about? All of us come from immigrants,” the lawyer stated.
